The Idea of the Greenaway Pro Surf/BB events are that it brings surf communities together to compete, party and honor in the name Of Tom Greenaway. Tom was a Body boarder and a very good one at that, the idea is that the event runs in the way that Tom would have liked, he would have entered and had a bloody good time in doing so. Wether he won or not would not have mattered to him.

This Seasons event is set to be bigger and better, harder and faster. The prize purse is increasing. New to the 2010 line up is the Open Longboard category, Porthmeor is well suited to the fast, stylish noserides and elegant, powerful turns of modern longboarding. With Britain's hotbed of talent spectators can look foreward

to some truly world class performances. Also Tom liked women so we thought there should be a ladies category.

Last years Event went off with perfect style and vibe, it also got some crazy reviews from world-class surfers both british and foreign..
