There are two nights of incredible music at the Greenaway with melodies for many a discerning ear.
Music is a universal truth, stop anyone at random in the street and ask them what sort of music they like and not many people will tell you ‘I don’t like music.’ We are incredibly lucky to live in such a rich and varied musical age, rewind 50 years and you basically had to choose from The Beatles, The Stones or Dylan. Now our libraries are a little more diverse and our tastes a little more defined. The Greenaway Pro attempts to showcase just a slither of the musical talent we have here in Cornwall and the rest of our island, but oh what a slither. The opening night of the Greenaway Pro is a series of beautiful and reflective acoustic sessions, interspersed with short clips from local film-makers, with the audience well-watered by the finest of Cornish ales. The second night is far wilder affair, energy, energy, energy, jumping, shaking, sweating, holding, hollering and hundreds of hands held, glistening, in the air. Do not miss out.
